This USB 3.1 Type-C cable with a data transfer rate of 5 Gbps is designed to connect devices using the USB Type-C connector and supports a data transfer speed of up to 5 gigabits per second (Gbps). USB 3.1 Gen 1 is also commonly referred to as USB 3.1 with a data rate of 5 Gbps. USB Type-C is a reversible connector that has become increasingly popular due to its versatility and convenience. It can be plugged in either way, making it more user-friendly than the older USB Type-A and Type-B connectors that had a specific orientation.
The USB 3.1 Gen 1 specification offers improved data transfer speeds compared to its predecessor. It has a maximum data rate of 5 Gbps. This increase in speed allows for faster file transfers, quicker backups, and better overall performance for compatible devices.
